ABCDE partners with its partner universities and higher institutions of learning throughout the world to offer unpaid internships in the organization. Interns work alongside staff members and volunteers to help develop the employability skills of students both in secondary schools and tertiary institutions.
This program fosters a deeper understanding of the work of ABCDE among young graduates. In general, our internships require a 15-20 hour/work week and commitment to work for a specified minimum number of weeks. Our internships combine meaningful work experiences with exposure to different aspects of ABCDE operations, and provide interns with an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the industrial and education sectors. Interns attend certain staff meetings, may participate in departmental meetings. They are also invited to participate in other organizational learning opportunities and social events.
